Hey everyone! I have a new blog. I'm really excited about it. It's way easier to upload big pictures, so hopefully I'll post more often! The domain is short and sweet too. joshuagene.com. You can check out a wedding and an engagement session that I did over the weekend.

Megan + Simon = Married

Megan and Simon got married at the fabulous Saint Michaels church near the University of Washington. The reception was held at Salty's in Alki.

It was a lot of fun. Check out some of the pics.

The girls knew how to have a good time.

Simon is Scottish and wanted to wear a kilt, but Megan didn't think that was such a great idea. But she did surprise him by getting the Seattle Firefighter: Pipes and Drums band to come play and escort them out of the ceremony.

Sara + James = Engaged

I recently had the pleasure of meeting with Sara and James and gettting some fun engagement pictures at Alki. I'm totally stoked to photograph their wedding next month in Olympia.

Nicole + Jason = Engaged

Jason and Nicole showed me around one of their favorite places - the University of Washington campus. I could tell that they loved the place, and I have to say, I fell in love with it too. All of the buildings are so old and the grounds are beautiful. It it felt like I was in another country. I'd love to shoot a wedding or bridal session there. If any future brides are interested, let me know!

Sarah + Michael = Engaged

Sarah and Michael came down from school for the weekend and we did their engagement session in Snoqualmie. We had a good time hiking around Snoqualmie Falls and exploring the Train Museum.

Winnie + Tray = Engaged

I met Winnie and Tray at Luther Burbank Park on Mercer Island. They are a totally cool couple and it was a blast working with them. Congratulations on your engagement guys!
